What is the difference between The Hose Mule™ and other hose roller products?
The main difference is that The Hose Mule™ doesn't simply roll up the hose. The Hose Mule™ is the only system on the market that drains and loads in ONE operation. The Hose Mule™ draws the hose up off the street draining the water and air out in one continous operation. Afterwards, the crew only has to fold the hose back into the bed as it is fed from The Hose Mule™.

Other systems require you to roll up and handle each section of hose multiple times before placing back on the apparatus. This places too much work on already exhausted firefighters. With The Hose Mule™ the firefighters are safely kneeled down in the hose bed and ergonomically reloading the hose. The Hose Mule™ connects to the apparatus 12 volt system. No low or dead battery packs to contend with or chargers to hook up. Simply plug in the power cord, and you are ready to pick up any amount of hose without changing battery packs.

The Hose Mule™ is stored in its mount on top of the apparatus, ready to be placed into service in minutes. By storing The Hose Mule™ on top of the apparatus it does not take up valuable compartment space.
